Our Story

Wing & Grain Studio began with a simple belief: when you work with nature—listening to the curve of a wing and the line of a grain—every piece can feel alive. I design and build furniture and décor that balance clean, modern lines with the warmth of honest materials. Each project starts with a sketch, a board, and a promise to let the wood speak.

Greek Roots, Ikarian Spirit

I’m Anthony Herouvis, and my craft is shaped by my Greek heritage and the island of Ikaria—a place known for longevity, slow living, and soulful craft. Three Greek ideas guide my work:

• Meráki (μεράκι): putting soul, creativity, and love into what you make.

• Kéfi (κέφι): the joyful spark that fuels design.

• Philoxenía (φιλοξενία): generous hospitality—furniture made to welcome people in.

Ikaria’s rhythm—unhurried, intentional, close to the sea—reminds me to build with patience and purpose. The studio name reflects that union of flight (Wing) and foundation (Grain)—the imagination of Icarus with the grounded wisdom of Daedalus, the master craftsman.
